WHO WE ARE

Smyle: Almost everyone brushes their teeth with toothpaste full of microplastics, packed in a plastic tube. While the world is choking on plastic waste. That’s why we started Smyle. Smyle is a startup that sells toothpaste in the form of a tablet. You can refill our glass bottle your whole life and we just deliver your tabs through your mailbox. Smyle is vegan, cruelty-free and free of plastic packaging and microplastics. We only use natural ingredients. We are now sold in 50 countries. We’re looking for more growth, visibility and social presence and are looking for great colleagues who recognize themselves in our brand and want to help.

WHO ARE YOU?

You think at least at MBO or HBO level and live in Amsterdam or nearby. (Unless you are very sporty and like to bike to the office every day from Den Helder or Venlo). You are practical, proactive, really good in Dutch and English… well, you know the list, let’s not repeat that. 

At Smyle we get a Smyle from sustainability, this is therefore very important to us. Do you have a Hummer or private jet, never mind!

You are an aspiring SEO specialist with creative ways in which you can introduce the world to our brand.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As I’m sure you already know, website optimization is key to success. As a company you want to be found in Google pretty easily. Website optimization and Google Analytics is a piece of cake for you. You have a creative mind and amazing writing skills. You are ambitious, have lots of ideas for blogs, which you can write yourself. You bring lots of creative ideas, great blog posts and know what people ask Google with which you can build mega freedom and a super portfolio!

WHAT DO YOU GET IN RETURN?

You will be watching the growth from startup to scale up, working in a cozy (if we say so ourselves) team. Our office is located above the Foodhallen in Amsterdam, so there is delicious and responsible food for sale everywhere among us and in the neighbourhood. You get to work partly at home and partly in the office, get responsibility, compensation, free lunch and very clean teeth!
